A 39-year-old man has been arrested after a man was hit with a ‘metal chain’ on a Barrow street.
The incident happened at about 3.30pm om Dalton Road on Thursday and police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
It was reported that the victim was hit with an item described as a metal chain by another man. His injuries are believed to be minor.
A 39-year-old male from Barrow, was arrested on suspicion of assault, affray and possession of an offensive weapon. He has been released on bail.
