An event is set to be held which will raise funds for a community group in Carlisle.

Friends of Chances Park will hold Body, Mind and Spirit Day at Morton Manor on Wigton Road on September 11.

Among the activities will be yoga, meditation, Celtic jewellery, skincare, energy healing and tasting therapies.

Sessions will also be provided by local fitness group iCan.

Tickets for the event are priced at £5 with the proceeds supporting the work of Friends of Chances Park, who hold a number of events for the community such as bulb planting in schools and carols at Christmas.

The event will take place between 10am and 4pm and refreshments will be available at the Manor Cafe.
