Two arrests have been made and a number of items seized after burglaries in South Lakes.

Detectives are seeking information about numerous items which have been seized and are suspected to have been taken from burglaries in the South Lakes area.

Many of the tools that have been recovered have identifying marks and serial numbers.

Before contacting people are asked to make a note of any information that could assist officers to identify the correct owner. This includes the date your tools were stolen and details including serial numbers, identifying marks, or distinguishing features.

A 43-year-old woman and a 49-year-old man were arrested and released under investigation.

Anyone who identifies any of these items or has any information relating to any of these items can report online at www.cumbria.police.uk/reportit , quoting incident number 103 of September 27. You can also call 101.

Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
