A man has been arrested after an assault on the A69.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened at about 1.30pm on Sunday October 3 between Hallbank Gate and the Brampton roundabout.
The incident involved a man and a woman. The woman suffered minor injuries.
The 41-year-old man from Carlisle was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a person occasioning them actual bodily harm and released on police bail.
