Delays of at least 30 minutes are being reported on the M6 in Cumbria due to an incident.
Two lanes have been closed and traffic is queuing on the M6 northbound between junction 35 (Carnforth) and junction 36 (Crooklands).
It is understood the incident has been ongoing since before 4pm.
