A warning has been issued after festive scammers set up a fake event at Hutton-in-the-Forest.
A statement from the historic house and garden venue in the small village of Hutton-in-the-Forest, near Penrith, said: “Please be aware that someone is advertising a Christmas event on Facebook supposedly happening at Hutton-in-the-Forest.
“This is a fake event and is not happening at Hutton. Please do not buy tickets from them or interact with them in any way.”
