Cumbrian businesses can take advantage of free IT workshops thanks to a local technology firm.

Integrity IT Solutions, based in Carlisle and Annan, is offering the workshops to help businesses get the most out of their IT systems.

The half-day workshops will include talks from industry experts and practical tips and advice for day-to-day IT operations.

Guest speakers will include representatives from the firm’s national partner businesses including Sophos, Konica Minolta, and Gamma Telecom, as well as members of the Integrity team.

Topics will include cyber security, Microsoft 365, Teams and SharePoint training, flexible working, phishing and email security as well as Unified Communications.

The event will be held at Carlisle Racecourse on November 11. The session will last around three hours and will include welcome coffee/tea, introductions and talks, and a question and answer session. Experts will be available afterwards for anyone who would like to discuss IT solutions on a one-to-one basis.

Stephen Whelan, Technical Director at Integrity IT Solutions, said: “The way that many businesses operate has changed dramatically in the past 18 months and we want to make sure that businesses are making the most of new technologies that are available.

“Our aim is to ensure businesses are equipped with the knowledge that will enable them to continue to grow and develop.”
