A casualty was rescued from the river in south Cumbria.
At 12.17am hours yesterday, one fire engine attended Bank End, Haverigg. Fire service personnel rescued one casualty from the river and transferred them into the care of paramedics from North West Ambulance Service.
Firefighters were at the scene for about an hour.
