CCTV released after woman’s hair set alight in Carlisle bar

Detectives have renewed their public appeal for help to identify a man who set alight a woman’s hair in a Carlisle bar.

A CCTV image has been released after a woman’s hair was set alight in Amante on Lowther Street at some time between 10pm and 11pm on November 5.

A woman’s hair is believed to have been set alight and officers would like to speak to the man pictured in connection with the incident. 

A police spokesman said: “Officers remain keen to hear from anyone who can help us identify the person pictured, who can assist police with what was a serious incident.”

Officers are investigating the incident and are calling on anyone with information, or who recognises the man pictured, to come forward. You can report online at www.cumbria.police.uk/reportit , quoting incident number 125 of November 6.
