A man in his 60s has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a collision in Carlisle.
Emergency services are currently at the scene of the incident on Dalston Road.
At around 6.30pm, a Vauxhall Astra collided with a pedestrian.
The pedestrian suffered serious injuries to his lower leg.
The road is currently closed at the junction with Dunmail Drive and people are asked to avoid the area.
