A Kirkby-in-Furness school will not reopen until the new year due to rising COVID-19 cases.
Burlington C of E School on School Road is closed from today and is set to reopen on 8am on January 5.
A statement from Cumbria County Council said: ” Staffing issues and rising COVID cases has caused school closure.”
