A driver failed to stop for police before speeding off from the scene and abandoning the car.
At 7.25pm yesterday a white VW Golf was instructed to stop by police due to the manner of driving on Upperby Road. The vehicle made off at speed towards St Ninians Road before turning on to Petteril Bank Road, London Road and Cumwhinton Road. The vehicle was located abandoned on Hollyblue Drive.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any footage, including CCTV or dashcams, is urged to contact police.
