Three fire engines attended a blaze on the outskirts of Carlisle city centre.
At 11.12am yesterday, firefighters were called to a domestic property fire on Fusehill Street.
The fire involved plastic on top of a cooker. One casualty received a precautionary check from the North West Ambulance Service.
Firefighters remained on scene for one hour and ten minutes.
