A Carlisle aesthetics clinic is one of the finalists in the industry’s equivalent of the Oscars.
VL Aesthetics, based in Kingmoor, are not only the first clinic from Cumbria to be nominated but have now done so for two years running.
The Aesthetics Awards bring together the very best in medical aesthetics and are open to new and established businesses to celebrate the achievements of the past year.
The finalists were announced in the January issue of the Aesthetics journal and the winners will be revealed in a ceremony at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on March 12.
VL Aesthetics is one of 14 nominated in the AestheticSource Award for Best Clinic North England category, including others from Newcastle, Manchester and Burnley.
Managing director Vanessa Brown said: “We are over the moon to be finalists for the second year in a row.
“The Aesthetics Awards are really the Oscars when it comes to awards ceremonies in this industry.
“We are up against some big names across the north of England, including clinics located in Manchester and Liverpool.”
She added that being a finalist highlighted the quality of services that they deliver in Cumbria, of a standard usually only found in big cities.
And it was that quality that attracted clients to travel from over the border in Scotland and from Newcastle to Carlisle.
