The M6 northbound will be closed for roadworks tonight.
The planned roadworks, between Junction 39 (Shap) and Junction 40 (Penrith), on the northbound carriageway, are due to take place between 8pm tonight, January 22 and due to reopen by 6am tomorrow.
Diversions are in place via the A6 and A66, our colleagues at Cumbria Road Watch are reporting.
