
Police are investigating a burglary and criminal damage at St Bees Priory.
Officers were called at about 6.50pm on Sunday.
Damaged was caused to property in the church, and items including a calendar taken out of the church and left damaged outside.
A police spokesman said: “Multiple lines of enquiry are being undertaken as part of the investigation.”
