A man in his late 80s had his mobility scooter damaged in Dalton.

Police are appealing for information following criminal damage caused to a mobility scooter in the area of the footpath next to the Brown Cow Inn at around 3pm on January 30.

The mobility scooter was left unattended whilst the owner walked in the area. When he returned the wires had been damaged and the scooter couldn’t be used.

Anyone with information relating to this incident can report online at www.cumbria.police.uk/report-it , quoting incident number 217 of January 30. You can also call 101.
