A section of London Road in Carlisle is closed after a chimney stack collapsed due to Storm Franklin.
Fire crews are on the scene to deal with the incident and the road between Grey Street and Close Street is closed to traffic and pedestrians.
The fire service said the collapse had left debris dangerously positioned on the roof.
A section of London Road is closed and cordoned off to traffic and pedestrians (Between Grey St and Close St- just near St Nicholas Retail Patk) whilst our crew deal with a chimney stack which has collapsed in the wind, and left building debris dangerously positioned on the roof.

Earlier this morning, Stagecoach said a building had collapsed in Botchergate so it was unable to use that route.
#Carlisle due to strong winds a building has collapsed in Botchergate and so our services are unable to use London Road for the time being, we will be using Warwick Road and Eastern Way until the road is clear.
