Easter bin collections in Allerdale

People are reminded of changes to bin collections in Allerdale over the Easter period.

Collections will take place as normal on Good Friday (April 15) but there will be no collections on Easter Monday (April 18).

Collections in the week commencing April 18 will take place one day later than normal. Collections due on Monday, April 18 will take place on Tuesday, April 19 and collections scheduled for Friday, April 22 will take place on Saturday, April 23.

Collections scheduled for week coming April 25 will take place on the usual days.

Allerdale’s customer services will close on Thursday, April 14 at 5pm and reopen at 9am on Tuesday, April 18.

Bins should be placed outside ready for emptying before 6am on the day of collection.

People are also being reminded that garden waste collections have also resumed across the borough.
