Work to partially rebuild a West Cumbrian bridge is set to start this month.
The Victoria Road bridge in Cockermouth has experienced minor subsidence.
Workers will partially rebuild part of the downstream parapet and work is due to begin on Monday, May 16 and last for five days.
The downstream path will be closed to pedestrians. Temporary two-way traffic lights will be in operation, and these will be manually operated during peak times.
Temporary pedestrian crossings will also be in operation. There will also be a requirement to suspend four Lorton Street parking bays on the town side approach to the bridge.
