3. The festival is family-friendly and all ages are welcome.
4. With increased footfall in the town, pre-ordering taxis for 11pm from Holker Street/Wilkie Road is strongly advised. The roads will be shut, however, taxis will be allowed through.
5. You cannot bring your own food and alcohol to the event; bags will be searched on entry.
6. Festivalgoers are welcome to bring picnic blankets but no camping chairs or gazebos.
7. With the festival being open to all ages, a strict Challenge 25 policy will be in place.
The festival’s line-up includes chart-topping and award-winning DJ and rapper Tom Zanetti, social media sensations Bad Boy Chiller Crew known for their high energy sets, and Kendal’s LOWES, voted BBC Radio 1’s Dance Vocalist of 2021.
There will also be a set from rising stars such as Barrow’s Wallis and The Silver Bars and Barrow town favourites Mad 4 It, one of the best Oasis tribute acts in the UK.
The company behind the festival have hosted many events in the town before including a Euro 2020 fan zone, Halloween and Oktoberfest events all to bring people together amid tough times.
One of the festival’s organisers Joe Jackson said: “Over lockdown, sports clubs had nobody coming through the doors. Using their grounds for events meant we gave them publicity and exposure and meant we could contribute much needed funds.
“We are passionate about bringing people together and creating exciting events. With Pitch Up we’ve seen people buy tickets from as far as Workington and Lancaster, it’s brilliant to see we’re bringing people into the area.
“We are passionate about giving back and that’s why we will also be giving a cut of the profits to St Mary’s Hospice, which has helped all of our families in some way, and to alike, a community for people with cancer.”
The remaining tickets are on sale at £33 for adults and £22 for under-18s and are available by visiting eventim.co.uk
