HTA senior table leader Duchess Ava extended her advantage at the top of the table with another win at Kirkland.

James McClelland’s bitch won from Roy Laidler’s Kirkhead Rebel with recent winners Huntsman’s Que and Cautious unable to make any ground on the winner finishing fourth and fifth.

Foxparke Beep Beep, owned by Robyn, Nicola, Ellie and Grace Napier and Brook Butler won the pups in a very close finish, getting the verdict which was a timely reward after knocking on the door for a while.

There were some good scalps, too, with the more fancied dogs Ned’s Gain and Huntsman’s Rascal in behind.

Katie Steel’s Mitredale Honesty brought home the open maidens while Prospect Spring, owned by Stuart Smith from Distington, took the open restricted.
