Silver Dream, the HRA Championship leader who is going for three successive senior titles, notched another win at Redman.
Cockermouth and Workington area hosted the three-grade meeting in which Silver Dream initiated a kennel double for Joseph Abram, Darren McMaster and Nicola McMaster and their Dearham team.
Six were entered into the Senior race and Silver Dream was sent off as the hot favourite, and once underway she was off, accompanied by James and Ava McLellan’s Baroness Ava.
The hounds are seen going down Millstone Moor where Silver Dream and Martin, Molly and Teddy Burrow and Sarah Jackson’s Thorn Soul had a 300-yard lead on Baroness Ava who in turn had a lead on the chasing trio.
Roughly two minutes later Silver Dream was still leading but this time from Baroness Ava with Thorn Soul dropping back to third.
Coming into sight and jumping the final hurdle onto the long finish Thorn Soul was just in front of Silver Dream and the pair were having a good race.
As they moved closer to the line Thorn Soul looked as though she was coming to win but was denied by Silver Dream making her usual power-packed finish who won by a length.
Thorn Soul was second ahead of Baroness Ava and then there was a small gap to Sophie Steele, and Jake and Zach Green’s Miterdale Green Queen.
Her kennel mate Sophie Steele’s Miterdale Dusk was fifth and the final ticket went to Lisa and Holly Whitfield’s Lucky Breeze.
The Pups also had six entries and leading them away was Anthony, Steph, Sophie, Katie and Alfie Steele and Roy Laidler’s Miterdale Sauvage and Joseph Abram and Claire Crone’s Silver Girl.
Going down Millstone Moor Silver Girl had got to the front from Miterdale Sauvage and Stephen Riley and Isla Hetherington’s Fable with a small gap to Sadie, Kessi and Graham Wilson’s Cinderella.

Back into sight the hounds were in the same order but just as they went out of sight Miterdale Sauvage went to the front.
When they came back into view and jumping the final hurdle down the long finish kennel mates Silver Girl and Cinderella were having a good race at the front.
When they neared the line it was Cinderella who finished best to win from Silver Girl and then Fable but they the only three to finish.
The final race of the night was the Open Maidens with nine and once underway it was Tracey, Carolyn and Derrick Hill’s Freddie Moon who got away at the front with Tanya Satterthwaite’s Paddy The Plasterer and Andrew Bulman and Laura Steele’s Swifty.
Going past the field Colin Satterthwaite’s pair of Thorn Heart and Thorn Pop had an advantage over Swifty and Stuart Jeyne’s Heartside.
Coming into sight and jumping the final hurdle and racing to the line the same three hounds were having a good race with Thorn Heart eventually beating kennel mate Thorn Pop with Swifty in third.
Heartside took fourth and Paddy The Plasterer stayed on well for fifth with the final ticket going to Lisa and Holly Whitefields Lucky Legend.
