Carlisle United are looking for new goalkeepers after second choice Magnus Norman turned down the offer of a new deal.
The 25-year-old is set to find pastures new during the summer, even though United did not offer new terms to first choice Mark Howard.
Norman made 16 appearances through his two seasons with the club having joined on a two-year contract from Fulham in the summer of 2020.
Norman joined his boyhood club Fulham at the age of nine, turning professional in October 2014. He then spent loan spells in non-League with Farnborough and Hayes and Yeading United.
He joined Southport on loan in September 2016 for an initial one-month loan. Then In October 2016 he was described as a key player for the club, so a month later the loan deal was extended until the end of the 2016–17 season.
He returned to Fulham in March 2017, having made 29 appearances in all competitions for Southport. He moved on loan to Rochdale in August 2018, and played seven times for them.
When he was released by Fulham, without playing a League game for the club, he signed for Carlisle.
The experienced Howard, 35, with over 200 Football League games behind for the likes of Sheffield Utd, Blackpool, Bolton, Salford, Scunthorpe and Carlisle was surprisingly released after being named as the Blues Player of the Season.
He will be out of contract at the end of June.
