A man was injured after he was attacked in Carlisle while walking.
The victim was walking on Newtown Road at around midnight on Friday July 22 when another man assaulted him, causing bruising and swelling to his face. The assault was unprovoked, police said.
Police are looking for witnesses to the incident.
