Cumbria make two changes for the NCCA Trophy semi-final against Oxfordshire on Sunday.

Skipper Michael Slack misses out with a broken toe sustained in the recent Championship three-day game with Buckinghamshire.

Cockermouth’s Sam Sharp is the other absentee from the side which got through the quarter final tie against Cambridgeshire on July 17.

Into their places come JJ Fielding of Southport and Birkdale, and Ben Walkden of the Newton-le-Willows club. Both played for Cumbria against Lancashire in the Showcase game at Sedbergh School on Sunday.

The pair have been part of the Lancashire Academy and the two counties are building a good working relationship.

In the absence of Slack, and former captain Gary Pratt, the Cumbria side will be led by the Cockermouth captain Matthew Sempill who has been in good form with the bat this season.

Nico Watt, who picked-up a hand injury in the last game with Buckinghamshire is fit to resume.

The game is being played at the Great and Little Tew club in Oxfordshire and will start at 11-00am.

The Cumbria team is: Matthew Sempill (Cockermouth, capt); Sam Dutton (Furness); Nathan Waterston (Furness); JJ Fielding (Southport & Birkdale); Marcus Stables (Nantwich); Ben Walkden (Newton-le-Willows); Paul Hindmarch (Keswick); Finlay Richardson (Netherfield); Nico Watt (Carlisle); Brodie Glendinning (Newcastle); Matthew Siddall (Cockermouth). 12th Man: Josh Stirling (Carlisle).
