A man had his jaw broken in an assault in Whitehaven in the early hours of Saturday.
A 23-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of GBH and released under investigation.
Police are appealing for information and witnesses about the attack, which happened outside the Gallachers Bar building, on Tangier Street, between 1.45am and 2.30am.
The injured man is in his 20s and black T-shirt and a black cap and blue jeans.
Officers are appealing for witnesses that may have seen a man, also in his 20s, wearing grey trainers, grey joggers and a grey T-shirt punch the man outside the bar.
