Police are continuing to appeal for people to come forward after a man was the victim of an attempted rape in Carlisle.
Officers arrested a 32-year-old man from Blackburn on suspicion of kidnap, false imprisonment and attempted rape in connection with the incident, which happened on Monday.
He has been remanded in custody and remains under investigation.
Police were called to the Denton Holme area on Monday evening, where the victim was found in a field near to the bay in Denton Holme.
Detectives are continuing to appeal for anyone with information about the incident to come forward, if they are yet to do so.
