Wigton Motor Club’s Cumbria Classic & Motorsport Show proved to be a tremendous success with warm sunshine adding to the ambience of the Dalemain parkland.
Entrants came from as far away as Inverness and Suffolk.
Nearly 850 cars were on display including 30 club stands, some well patronised trade stalls and a variety of food outlets.
The popular autotests were run under the StreetCar banner to encourage more people to take part and around 50 new members joined the club.
The featured marques were Porsche and Austin 7.
At 3.00pm the award winning cars were taken into the main arena and their owners voted for the prestigious “Car of the Show” award which went to the Alvis TD21 DHC of John Wilson.
