Police are investigating an allegation of assault on a Carlisle street.
It was reported that a man was walking up Newtown Road at around 12am on Friday, July 22.
Another man launched into an unprovoked assault, causing bruising and swelling to the victim’s face.
Police are looking for witnesses to the incident and anyone who can identify the suspect.
