After reports on social media, police said they have arrested a man in connection with a burglary in West Cumbria.
Paul Carr, 30, of Devon Road, Hensingham, has been charged with burglary of a dwelling and theft and fraud by false representation.
A police spokesman said: “The man has been charged following reports of burglary in the area of Moor Row on social media.”
Carr has been remanded in custody to appear at Carlisle Crown Court on October 17.
