Volunteers from Maryport Rescue were called out in the early hours to help a yacht in distress.
The independent lifeboat was called at around 4.20am after a yacht on its way to Conway in Wales, with one person on board, lost power off the Maryport coast.
The crew launched The E-on Spirit of Maryport and found that the vessel was further south. The lifeboat towed the yacht into Workington harbour due to the tide.
