A person has died after being hit by a train on the West Coast Mainline.
The incident happened between Oxenholme and Lancaster today, Tuesday, October 4.
Operator Avanti West Coast said: “Following a person being hit by a train between Oxenholme Lake District and Lancaster all lines have now reopened. Train services running through these stations may be cancelled or delayed by up to 120 minutes.”
