An arrest has been made after a man brandished a pocketknife when challenged about stealing a TV in Barrow.
The incident happened outside of Asda on Walney Road yesterday, October 13, at around 8.30pm.
A man in his 40s, from Barrow, was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and theft. He has been released under investigation.
Police said they were looking for any dashcam footage of the incident.
The suspect is a white man in his 40s. He was wearing a light-grey jumper, dark trousers and a black woolly hat.
