Three fire crews spent several hours tackling a blaze in a disused building in Whitehaven.
They were called at around 1.30am this morning to a building on Hollins Close, where the fire had spread from the first floor of the building to the roof space.
Firefighters used an aerial ladder platform, two breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet, a thermal imaging camera and a 12 metre ladder to extinguish the fire.
