Police are aware of a video which has been shared on social media showing an assault on two young children in West Cumbria.
Officers were contacted shortly before 8pm yesterday, November 7, in relation to the video. Police said immediate action was undertaken to identify those involved and safeguard the children shown in the video.
A man and a woman have been arrested on suspicion of child neglect.
The victims, two young children, have been safeguarded.
