Shipping containers, a greenhouse, a boat shed and other unexpected spaces and places will host creative and festive magic for audiences in Barrow this Christmas.
A BarrowFull of Christmas from BarrowFull will offer 12 experiences exploring the gifts from the 12 Days of Christmas which will be ready for the public to
explore, spread across Barrow Park and The Dock Museum.
The free trail will be open from 10.30am to 3.30pm on December 3, 4, 7, 10 and 11.
Twelve community groups are working with three professional artists to create exciting and engaging responses to each of the gifts from 12 Days of Christmas.
Daniel Tyler-McTighe, BarrowFull’s creative director, said: “I’m so glad that we can co-create this ambitious festive treat for Barrovians this year, working with local people.

“We’ve got a lot to organise, including sorting out shuttle buses to ensure that everyone can get around Barrow while it’s on without having to worry about money during these challenging times. We’ll be asking for local opinions and feedback on the whole project over the next few weeks as we work things out.”
BAE Systems is sponsoring the event.
