A man was punched in the face this morning in an unprovoked attack in Carlisle.
Police are treating the incident as racially aggravated and are appealing for witnesses.
The incident happened at about 7am between Ennerdale Avenue and Merith Avenue.
The victim suffered no injuries.
Officers are appealing for the public’s help in identifying the offender. He is described as being 5ft 9in, white, aged in his late 30s with short, light-coloured hair. He was wearing a dark-coloured jumper and trousers.
