An 84-year-old woman has been seriously injured in a crash on the A595.
She has been airlifted to hospital ‘with life-threatening injuries’, police said, following the incident on the A595 at Holmrook at around 1.30pm yesterday.
The vehicle involved was a black Ford Ka.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed what occurred or the moments leading up to it – or who has dashcam which may assist – to make contact with police.
