Police are appealing for witnesses after an incident involving dogs at Maryport Promenade.
Two dogs are reported to have attacked a woman’s dog. She suffered minor injuries to her leg, not requiring treatment, during the incident.
It happened at about 11am on Friday.
The dogs that attacked the woman’s dog were a black labrador and a white-and-tan terrier.
The owner of the dogs was believed to be a white man, in his late 40s, with grey stubble or a beard, wearing a dark hat, black work-style trousers and a black jacket.
