Foodie fans in Carlisle will be in for a treat as a much missed restaurant has revealed its reopening date.
Eaten by Monsters will be open to the public on Thursday February 9 and is now taking bookings for cocktails and food on its website.
While the restaurant formerly had two floors for diners, only the top floor will be reopened, with the bottom floor tables replaced by a pool table.
The popular eatery closed in 2020 mid-pandemic and reopened as The Prince & Bear that year, before being renamed Prince.
After two years of silence, the Devonshire Street restaurant announced late last year it was getting ready to reopen under its original name.
On social media at the time, it said: “Guess who’s back…Coming (back) soon to Devonshire Street, serving up carbs and cocktails.”
Sporting a smaller menu than before, the restaurant will focus on serving burgers, chicken tenders, sweet treats and shakes.
