Aspiring entrepreneurs and owners of young businesses are urged to attend free drop-in sessions next month in West Cumbria.

The sessions, organised by Cumbria Business Growth Hub, are designed to provide people with the opportunity to speak to experts and learn about the fully-funded business support services on offer.

The drop-in sessions will be led by staff from the growth hub, who will be joined by representatives from Allerdale and Copeland councils, members of the growth hub business adviser team, Barclays Eagle Lab and Dodd and Co Accountants.

Sessions will be held at Lakes College, Lillyhall, near Workington, on February 8 from 10am to 2pm and at Barclays Eagle Labs, The Bus Station, Whitehaven, on February 15 from 10am to 2pm.

The sessions are open to anyone interested in running their own business, regardless of their industry or experience level.

Lesley Robinson, head of business support at the growth hub, said: “We’re excited to offer these drop-in sessions to the entrepreneur and business community in West Cumbria. Our goal is to help local entrepreneurs succeed and these sessions will provide them with the tools and resources they need to start their own business or take their businesses to the next level.”

To attend either of the drop-in sessions email [email protected] with your name and contact details and the session you would like to attend.
