Police are investigating an incident of fuel theft at Stainmore Café on the A66.
It happened on January 31 between 1am and 1.15am.
Police are appealing for any witnesses or drivers with dashcam footage who may have seen or captured a blue HGV towing a red trailer entering and leaving the parking area at these times.
The trailer shows www.rtr-recke.de in white on it, with further white markings.
