A Cockermouth road has been closed for urgent repairs.
Parkside Avenue has been closed today, Monday February 13, from its junction with Fern Bank to its junction with the A5086.
It is estimated the work will take five days.
A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
A suitable alternative route for vehicles will be signed and available via the A5086 and the U2369, Fern Bank.
