Prime drinks spotted in Cumbria.

An American hydration drink is now being stocked in even more Cumbrian stores.

Morrisons and Sainsbury’s have confirmed stores across the county will sell Prime Hydration – with some limited edition flavours available.

The ‘impossible-to-get’ drink created by YouTubers Logan Paul and KSI has proved a hit in Cumbria since it was released back in December, with high demand often outweighing supply.

Aldi stores across the county saw queues for the drink starting at 6am and some local shoppers paid up to £1000 for just one crate of the bottles.

Cumbria’s Morrisons stores are set to start stocking Prime from today – and an official list of of locations selling the drink is still yet to be confirmed.

A spokeswoman for Morrisons said: “We are now stocking the much sought after Prime Hydration Energy Drink in the majority of our Cumbria stores while stocks last. The max cap of four bottles per customer is across the range of drinks.

“Products include: Prime Hydration Ice Pop, Prime Hydration Tropical Punch, Prime Hydration Lemon Lime and Prime Hydration Blue Raspberry.”

While the drink was initially only sold in Asda, it has since been sold and resold elsewhere including garages and corner shops.

A spokesman for Sainsbury’s said: “We are excited to be launching the following Prime Hydration products, rolling out in store on a ‘when it’s gone, it’s gone’ basis. Customers can buy up to three bottles of Prime Hydration.

“Products include: Prime Hydration Lemon Lime, Prime Hydration Blue Raspberry, Prime Hydration Tropical Punch, Prime Hydration Ice Pop and Prime Hydration KSI Limited Edition Orange & Mango.”

Shoppers lucky enough to get their hands on a bottle are also only allowed one of each flavour and it’s so desirable that resellers are also selling empty bottles to fans.

Manufactures of the drink claim it contains 20 calories per bottle and is made up of 10 per cent coconut water, electrolytes, B vitamins, BCAAs and zero sugar.

KSI and Logan Paul are reported to have made over £250 million in retail sales last year alone and the duo have since released a new Prime energy drink that is still yet to hit UK shops.
