Police are appealing for witnesses after items were stolen from a van stopped at traffic lights.
The incident took place at around 12pm yesterday on Main Street, Grange Over Sands.
During the incident a male forced entry and gained access to the rear of a van stopped at traffic lights close to the golf club. The van then continued on with its journey before stopping.
The male then exited the van taking items from within, including cigarettes. He then entered a white van driven by another man, which reversed along main street causing damage to multiple vehicles and headed in the direction of Allithwaite.
