
Two men have been charged after a cannabis farm was discovered in Egremont.
Officers conducted a warrant at a property on Brisco Road on Tuesday February 28 and found 195 plants.
A further search was also conducted at a property on Main Street in Cleator Moor, where a further 142 plants were found.
Officers have charged Balerim Salimuthaj, 26, of Lily Street, West Bromich with being concerned in production of a controlled drug of Class B – Cannabis.
Also charged was Luka Mecini, 22, of no fixed address with being concerned in production of a controlled drug of Class B – Cannabis.
Both were remanded in custody to appear at North and West Magistrates’ Court today.
