A huge coach fire closed a South Cumbrian road for over two hours.
Police and the fire service were called to the A590 at Backbarrow, near Ulverston yesterday afternoon.
Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said it was called out at around 5.20pm and three fire engines attended. Crews were detained for ‘several hours’, the service said.
Road closures were put in place as firefighters tackled the blaze.
