Firefighters were called out after a three-vehicle collision in Brough.
Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service was called at around 4pm yesterday, March 20, to the access road to West View.
Two people had to be cut out of their vehicles and were left in the care of the North West Ambulance Service.
Firefighters were at the scene for around an hour and 30 minutes.
