Workington boss Danny Grainger admits to being frustrated with results over the last month but has faith in his players to finish the job!
He said: “It has been up and down recently but over the season the players have done great. When you look back it’s worth remembering we only won one of the first six games.
“I have faith in the squad of players and we are looking for three big performances to finish off with.
“The last game of the league season tomorrow will see a Colne side fighting for their lives. They need points to stay ahead of Glossop to avoid relegation.
“We can still finish second with a win, although it’s no longer in our own hands and will depend on Leek’s result too.
“Whatever happens tomorrow we know we have a home game on Tuesday night in the play-offs.
“I will be making changes tomorrow. We have a full squad to pick from but with a couple of players having had injury issues recently I don’t want to risk losing anyone for the play-offs.”
Reds and their rivals will find-out who plays who in the play-off semi-finals on Tuesday night with Leek v Runcorn and Reds v Clitheroe as it stands.
The key games tomorrow are: Leek v Skelmersdale; Workington v Colne; Clitheroe v Kidsgrove and Trafford v Runcorn.
